Using modifications
Max Payne
If you have downloaded a mod for Max Payne, place it into the game's installation folder (typically C:\Program Files\Remedy\Max Payne), and select the mod from the Max Payne start-up dialog.
Max Payne 2
To use modifications in Max Payne 2, follow this official instruction.
After downloading a mod, just place the file (modname.mp2m) in the Max Payne 2 game folder. Start the game, and you can select the mod from the "Choose Customized Game" pop-up list in the startup screen. To enable original Max Payne 2 again, just select "none" from the pop-up list. Please note: mods for the original Max Payne are not compatible with Max Payne 2.
Prefabs
We are doing our best to collect good prefabs for aspiring mappers to use for Max Payne 2 levels, you can find everything in our Prefab section, it's updated as often as we can get new stuff.
