In celebration of Reservoir Dog’s 25th anniversary later this year, Lionsgate and Big Star Games have announced Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days, a top-down action-shooter based on the iconic film by Quentin Tarantino.
Perhaps unbeknownst to many, Bloody Days will be the second installment in Reservoir Dog’s videogame history, as Volatile Games already (slightly disappointingly) attempted to turn the movie into a videogame back in 2004. Do not get your hopes up for this one though, as the trailer below reveals the game will be rather simple instead of a fully-fledged cinematic AAA experience. However, let us give it a chance to shine before becoming judgmental on it. Maybe it will turn out like one of those excellent Lara Croft games?
As mentioned, Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days will feature a top-down perspective, where players must strategically rewind time to control a team of characters as they blast their way through a variety of heists based on the movie. The game is slated for a release on Xbox One and PC in Spring 2017.
