Alan Wake is set to make an appearance in the popular horror game Dead by Daylight, as confirmed by Remedy and Behaviour. Ilkka Villi and Matthew Poretta will reprise their roles as the tormented writer, recording new voice lines specifically for this collaboration!
For avid Dead by Daylight players, the introduction of Alan Wake brings intriguing perks. The ‘Champion of Light’ ability enhances Alan’s movement speed when using a flashlight, and blinding an enemy temporarily hinders their speed. The ‘Boon: Illumination’ skill allows players to create a Boon totem, revealing the auras of nearby generators and chests to all players. Lastly, ‘Deadline’ activates when injured, increasing the frequency of Skill Checks while Healing Survivors or Repairing Generators, with a halved penalty for missed checks.
For those unfamiliar with Dead by Daylight, it’s an online multiplayer survival horror game developed by Behaviour Interactive. In this one-versus-four scenario, one player assumes the role of a Killer, while the other four act as Survivors. The Killer’s objective is to impale each Survivor on sacrificial hooks to appease a malevolent force called the Entity. Conversely, the Survivors must evade capture and collaborate to power up exit gates by repairing five generators.
