Max Payne Retribution has been out for quite some time now. The Max Payne inspired fan film has received critical acclaim from fans and media alike. At this moment of writing the viewer-counter on YouTube has surpassed the 70.000. Impressive results along with lots of love and support. Reason enough for the crew to announce their future plans.
It was already teased during a Q&A with writer/director Leroy Kincaide that the Retribution team has the ambition to transform Max Payne into a TV series. Their recently released fan film has proven that the formula they created is a perfect fit for this genre. Something we confirmed during our review of the film. In a newly released video on their YouTube channel, Kincaide officially confirms these plans and announces that their game-to-tv-series adventure has begun.
However, before Kincaide can continue with any of that, he first needs to acquire the rights to do so. In order to get this done he has started a petition to gather as much support as possible to show the current owner of the rights that Retribution is the way forward.
