After a few days of teasing, Rockstar Games have finally confirmed a new entry in the Red Dead franchise. Coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4 in the Fall of 2017, is Red Dead Redemption 2. To many a surprise, because the “2” in the game’s title strongly hints to the continuation of the John Marston story line. Without spoiling any details about the story of the previous installment, a sequel was not something many gamers were thinking of. Perhaps a prequel then? The artwork Rockstar released along with the announcement shows a character that resembles John Marston. This led many fans of the franchise to believe the game might be focused on the time when Marston was still a gang member. We’ll have to wait for more information as the release date draws nearer.
