The sequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption is a game a lot of fans of the series are waiting for. Today Rockstar finally shed some new light on the game after its announcement in October 2016. It seems the wait is going to be a little longer. Originally slated for a release in the fall of 2017, Red Dead Redemption is now set for release in the spring of 2018. As a reason for the delay, Rockstar states:
“This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.
We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer.”
To make up for the delay, along with the news, Rockstar released some new screenshots. I have to admit, this game is looking very beautiful and is probably well worth the wait. What do you think about this news?
