In some unfortunate news released by Rockstar Games last week, the world was informed the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 is pushed back to October 26th 2018. Originally slated for release in the fall of 2017, Rockstar Games initially delayed the title for Spring 2018. With now a second delay happening, the title is being pushed back for almost an entire year. As delays are a custom for Rockstar Games titles by now, we can take comfort in the fact that additional development time will result in a better, more polished experience. The Rockstar Games logo has grown to become a sort of “seal of quality” for gamers. As one of the few triple-A game studios that does not seem to be bothered by releasing a game to meet a deadline at the cost of quality, that alone deserves credit in my book.
More information about the game is to be released soon, as Rockstar promises to “look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.”. Along with the news of the delay, some new screenshots were released. Click here to go to the Rockstar Games newswire to view them!
