Rockstar Games might have delayed Red Dead Redemption 2 for a second time in order to polish the title a bit more, but that does not withhold fans from wanting to know more about the upcoming highly anticipated video game. It seems today those fans got served. Trusted Reviews has received a number of alleged development notes on the game that reveal gameplay details regarding missions, mechanics, online multiplayer modes and story.
The website already received documents and screenshots back in August 2017 but decided not to share them, as they were unsubstantiated. However, as Rockstar Games began to share more information about the game, a great deal of information in the documents has since been validated. The website seems to base the confirmation mainly on similarities found in promotional screenshots.
According to the leaked notes, among Red Dead Redemption 2’s online components is a “Battle Royale” mode. While exact details about the game mode are unknown at this time, it’s likely it will play out in similar fashion as incorporated in the immensely popular videogame Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds. In PUBG, 100 players are dropped from an airplane in a map where they have to loot and kill until there’s only one player left standing.
With GTA V’s online community being one of the strongest and most profitable on the planet, Rockstar’s decision to incorporate a Battel Royale online component could be substantial should the momentum move from V to Red Dead Redemption 2. Could this mean a spot among legendary esports gametitles? That remains to be seen. To read more about the allegedly leaked details, click this link.
