Late last year, Remedy released Alan Wake Remastered for Xbox, and PlayStation platforms, as well as PC. The remaster came with graphical enhancements, improved textures, and character models. It was Alan’s very first outing on PlayStation. Soon, Alan will once again tread new ground as the game is slated for release on Nintendo Switch!
Coming later this fall, Alan Wake Remastered for Nintendo Switch will run natively on the hardware. Unlike Remedy’s Control, which is only available on the platform by streaming. Alan Wake Remastered will launch as a digital release only, and we couldn’t be more excited for Alan to meet a whole new group of players!
While no screenshots or trailer has been shared yet, it’s likely we’ll see more of the Switch edition soon. It will be interesting to see how the game will hold up in action on this popular handheld. It’s unlikely it will run in a high resolution, but considering the game is 12 years old, it should run buttery smooth!
