Control managed to win four awards last night at the D.I.C.E. awards. It won “Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction”, “Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction”, “Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition” and last but not least “Action Game of the Year”. That’s quite the achievement! Congratulations Remedy. Very much deserved!
Remedy’s Thomas Puha (Communications Director), Juha Vaino (Executive Producer) and Johannes Paloheimo (Chief Commercial Officer) were present at the awards ceremony. The D.I.C.E. Awards are a prestigious event and can be considered the “Oscars” of the game industry. For over 20 years the nominees in each category are selected by a peer panel with over 100 video game professionals across several facets of the industry, including developers, programmers, artists, and publishers.
Control just keeps on snagging awards and rightfully so! Feedback from fans and game critics has been overwhelmingly positive and awards like these set it all in stone. With “The Foundation” content expansion coming March 20, we’re far from done with our adventures in the FBC.
