Alright lads, here’s the latest. If you really haven’t been able to grab a copy of Alan Wake after all these years, now’s your chance. For a limited amount of time, Remedy’s twisted psychological thriller Alan Wake and Ubisoft’s For Honor will be available for free on the Epic Store.
The time-window to grab these titles is short. They’ll only be available for free during August 2 till 9. Epic is notoriously known for drawing in new customers to their store front by offer various games for free.
Alan Wake is about an author battling the shadowy agents of the Dark Presence as he searches for his missing wife and tries to unravel the mystery of a missing week. More details can be found on the game’s store page.
Because For Honor is an M-rated title, Epic is also putting out Alan Wake (which is rated T for Teen, and so everyone can enjoy something). Just this week, developer Remedy has mentioned that they, if the time is right, would still consider to create a sequel. The development of a possible sequel became more likely after Remedy acquired the publishing rights earlier this month from Microsoft.
