If you think just because we haven’t reported some news on Control for the past few days the guys at Remedy are taking it easy, you couldn’t be more wrong. Instead, their marketing team has spent the last few weeks traveling the world in order to meet up with media and influencers to show them some brand new footage about the game, now production is nearing its end.
They were allowed to spend around 60-minutes with the game, tasking them to successfully complete the game’s third campaign mission called “Directorial Override”. In this mission Jesse’s objective is to lift a lockdown that’s been set in place in The Oldest House in order to be able to venture deeper in the premises. The screenshots the press were send by Remedy to accompany their articles (some also share bits of their playthrough) give us a better look at characters from the supporting cast.
The first is Ahti. He’s no stranger as we’ve seen before. He’s the Janitor at the FBC and is being described as an “off-beat loner oddly at home in the endless strangeness of the Oldest House.” Ahti is played by the famous Finnish actor Martti Suosalo. Also, we get our first look at Emily Pope. A female supporting employee of the Oldest house that we’ve often hear over the radio guiding Jesse. Not much else about her is known yet or by whom she is portrayed.

It will be interesting to see if Remedy has more to share about Control when E3 hits next week. Most of the journalists are positively surprised about their time with Control and are eager to see more. On that part we can easily agree! Stay tuned.
