Yesterday Remedy caught the world by surprise! Just in time for the spooky season, Alan Wake Remastered got released on Nintendo Switch! The Finnish developer revealed they were working on the title a few months ago when sharing more about Alan Wake 2. However, the studio only shared the port was aimed for a release this fall. Yesterday’s sudden release caught us all off-guard. Alan Wake Remastered is Remedy’s very first native Switch release. Control was the Finnish studio’s debut title on the Nintendo handheld, but that game was streamed from servers and not running natively on the console. So quite the moment for Remedy (and Switch players around the globe!).
More good news: The game is available now on the Nintendo eShop, with a launch discount of 20% off the game’s usual $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 price. Like on current generation consoles, the Nintendo version comes with both DLCs (The Writer and The Signal) and thus offers the complete experience.
Alan Wake Remastered is also available on PC on the Epic Games Store and via physical and digital editions on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4/Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Xbox One S.
