After more than a decade, our beloved writer finally emerges from the darkness! The wait is over: Alan Wake Remastered is out now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One (X), Xbox Series X/S, and on the Epic Games Store for PC.
With the release of Alan Wake Remastered, Remedy is finally introducing the beloved cult classic to the PlayStation platform. The original game was released back in 2010, exclusively for the Xbox 360. However, a new generation of consoles also means a new generation of players is now able to experience Alan’s mind-blowing adventure.
Whether you’re visiting the idyllic town of Bright Falls for the first time, or if you’re a returning player, you should know that the game is looking better than ever. With optimized graphics and new secrets to uncover, the game manages to provide a fun experience for everyone! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to publish my review in time for the release. Hopefully I get to finish it later this week. I just want to make sure I’ve seen every nook and cranny to uncover all the game has to offer (yes, I’m talking about connections to 2019’s Control!)
Alan Wake is a game that’s dear to many of us. Since the announcement of the Remaster – which Remedy did through the fansite of our good friend Rachel; The Sudden Stop – the developer has been putting the community center stage. The community, in return, has been eager to share their excitement about playing the game again:
On behalf of everyone at Remedy, d3t, and Epic Games Publishing, community manager Vida Starcevic thanks the fans at the official Alan Wake website for their excitement and devotion. We couldn’t agree more! Remedy’s games and characters touch so many of us, it’s a privilege to share those experiences with so many others. Congratulations to Remedy with the launch and all others involved in making this a reality!
