Voting has opened for the 37th Golden Joystick Awards. It’s the yearly re-occurring event in which all gamers around the globe are tasked with picking the best game in their class. Along with games, you can also cast your vote on the best studio. New additions this year are the best new hardware and the best new expansion and updates.
Spanning across a total of 17 categories, the task of picking the best game, studio or hardware in its class is no easy task. You’ll be delighted to know that both Remedy and Control have been nominated. Remedy as ‘Best Studio’ and Control in ‘Best Storytelling’, ‘Best Visual Design’ and ‘Best Audio’. Competition is fierce but if you’ve played thoroughly enjoyed Control, it deserves your vote!
Outer Wilds leads the shortlist, being nominated a total of six times. Followed by Control, with four nominations. Let’s hope (and vote to make sure) this is a sign our beloved Finnish studio will soon be able to collect all these pristine prizes!
