Control is shaping up to be one of the stars during the many GotY-awards. The game is nominated in various categories on various websites and platforms. Just minutes ago, IGN revealed Control is their Game of the Year for 2019. But it doesn’t stop there. The game also won the ‘Best Action-Adventure Game’ award, the ‘Best Video Game Art’ award and the ‘Best Video Game Story’ award. That’s HUGE! We’d like to congratulate everyone at Remedy Games, 505 Games and others that were involved in the realization of this videogame. Truly a marvelous game and recognition that’s well deserved.
Shortly after the news, Remedy released a video towards the community to thank them for voting and supporting the game. The news is announced by Creative Director Sam Lake, who’s joined by various developers from the Control team. These developers were not informed on what Lake was about to say and their reaction is absolutely wholesome. If this is the just the start, exciting days are ahead of us 😉
