It was about a month ago when we informed you about Control’s latest trailer, showing off more of The Oldest House. Yes, we’re referring to that eerie one that was narrated by James McCaffrey. It has been relatively quiet around the new Remedy game since but that might soon change. Control is slated for release sometime in 2019 and fans have been poking the developer like crazy to learn exactly when.
Remedy took it to their Twitter to state that more clarification about the game’s release date is “coming soon” and that leads us to believe the date will be revealed in the next coming days. And that might actually be around the day of February 12, as the company’s “silent period” will then end. During the silent period, the senior management of the company does not meet with investors, analysts or other capital market representatives, nor do they give interviews on the financial position of the company. Also, around the same time the company will publicize its financial statement. This is, of course, pure speculation but along with the numbers, a release date for new products is considered valuable information for new potential investors.
If the date gets revealed, you’ll hear it here first!
