The arrival of New Game + in Alan Wake 2 was anticipated, and now we have confirmation of its release date in December, as announced by Remedy on X.
The post humorously declared, “New month, new game… plus?” and assured players that the game mode is set to debut this December. In New Game +, players can revisit the game’s story campaign while retaining access to all previously acquired weapons and upgrades. The new game mode is expected to include potential support for heightened difficulty levels as well as additional rewards for replaying (new manuscript pages for example). Rumors even suggest that the game’s original ending will be extended. The exact release date for the new game mode is expected to be disclosed later this week at The Game Awards. Notably, The Poets of The Fall are confirmed to perform live at the event, marking their debut as The Old Gods of Asgard. Making The Game Awards is a must-see for Remedy fans.
