Microsoft’s new powerhouse of a console, the Xbox One X, is due to arrive in stores in less than a week. For those interested in buying the new console, stores are now taking pre-orders as we speak so you can reserve yours at launch. Some influencers and media are already in the possession of the new console and slowly but surely game updates are releasing as well.
Quantum Break is one of the games that Microsoft announced to be “Enhanced” for Xbox One X come launch time. Enhanced means the game will make use of the increased hardware performance to enable a higher resolution, smoother frame rates and support for High Dynamic Range. Microsoft kept its promise as the update was released just moments ago. I cannot test the improvements myself since I am not in the possession of an Xbox One X (and I am not planning to buy one any time soon either).
