We’re mere days away from the release of Control and it seems marketing surrounding the game is peaking. Today, IGN and Remedy revealed they’re planning to dedicate the entire month of July to further promote Control with all sorts of exclusive content. Things are starting off on a high note, as the first 13 minutes of the game were made public.
Now is a great time to mindful of spoilers. If you’d like to experience the game fresh from start to finish, you should obviously skip watching below video. Now with that out of the way, I can safely inform you the video is only light on spoilers. If you’ve been following our reports around the game much of the stuff that happens is already known to you.

Here’s a short summary: Jesse finds and enters the Federal Bureau of Control in the search for Dylan, her missing brother. At first glance, it’s completely deserted. After wandering through some of the corridors she meets with Ahti, the Janitor, who directs her to the interview room as she apparently is expected for a job interview. Jesse, unbeknownst of what’s to come, follows his instructions. Upon entering the room she finds Trench, the former Director of the FBC, dead on the floor. The Service Weapon is right beside him. When she picks it up, she is transported to the Astral Plane, were she has to complete a short tutorial about some of the basic movements in the game. After completion “The Board” or the mysterious Black Pyramid, appoints her as the new Director, the successor to Trench. When she’s ready to exit the room, she is confronted by Hiss and the video cuts to black.
