Alan Wake is by far one of the most beloved characters Remedy has created. Last year, the community celebrated the game’s 10th anniversary by sharing memories and moments they hold dear. Fans have been wildly speculating whether or not our beloved light-wielding hero will ever return in a proper sequel. While an answer to that question remains trapped in darkness (see what I did there?), Remedy sure has been keeping us on the edge of our seats with the events that occurred in Control’s A.W.E. downloadable content.
All of that aside, something interesting has popped up on the radar today. In the backend of the Epic Store, a listing for an “Alan Wake Remaster” has been found. There are no images, details, or other data to uncover. However, if true, these will likely be revealed soon. A Remastered version of Alan Wake sounds super likely too. Remedy bought the publishing right of Alan Wake years ago, enabling them to release the title on PlayStation as well. While that hasn’t happened yet, a remaster with 4K resolution and ray tracing lighting effects could change all that. Very exciting! I am very looking forward to this!
Since their next games are multiplatform, it could be possible that this remaster will arrive for PlayStation users as well!
