A lot is happening at Remedy nowadays. The Finland-based studio is working on several projects such as the Alan Wake TV show, Project Vanguard, the games that are part of their publishing deal with Epic and CrossFireX. Yesterday Sam Lake (Remedy’s Creative Director) announced by tweet the first draft of the story for their next game is ready. That’s a huge milestone! At this point, it’s unknown for which specific project Sam wrote the plot, but if you’re a fan of story-driven videogames, this should get you excited. Congratulations Sam!
Remedy is renowned for its stories and considers this a staple of their distinctiveness. Their latest game, Control, has proven once again that Remedy’s writers can come up with something extraordinary. Remedy stated before that their upcoming games will all take place within the same universe. That means it’s very likely this new plot contains crossovers with Alan Wake and Control. Who would say no to a story like that?!
